Summary of the New Zealand Trip

New Zealand through SIBC was one of the greatest experiences of my University Career. The nature and hiking that I got to observe and experience in the South Island will be remembered as some of the most beautiful places in the world. After landing in Christchurch on the South Island, I immediately drove down the island through some beautiful fields, lakes and mountains. After eventually meeting up with my team in Queenstown, we worked through the nights on perfecting the presentation and deliverables. When the time came, we flew up to Auckland and decided to work on our presentation for the rest of the day before we met with the client the next day.

The important part of the trip, the client presentation and meeting went extremely well. Dressed to the T, we went into their downtown office and met their team. After brief small talk, we started the presentation and did a great job. After a perfectly executed 20 minute presentation, we answered some questions about the deliverables and proceeded to go get lunch. Overall, the client experience was personal and authentic. It felt very good to deliver the fruits of our hard work throughout the semester. Working with a team from all over the country can be tricky, especially with logistics, but that is what made the successful deliverables so much more satisfying.
