Joyi-Colorful Zone: Mental Health Resources for University Students

May 23, 2024 Eileen Daspro

Toronto, Canada

I had the privilege to dive into one of the best trips of my life. We went to Toronto to present our recommendations of Joyi to our kind client, Nagar. She had a great talk with us, showing her perspective of life and how her entrepreneurial efforts reflected on a successful and happy journey across the world. She always showed a deep care for us, and it mimics her purpose with her business - to create a digital vitamin for people to take, and to improve their mental journey. I felt so satisfied by taking part of her vision, and I hope the best for her. Toronto was one of the best cities I have been to: good food, good walkability/public transportation, and great people. The city has so much character and history, and holds a strong music culture, as it is the hometown of two of the biggest artists in the world: Drake and The Weeknd. Our trip took place during the 8 year anniversary of Drake's album Views, which is a tribute to Toronto. It felt like such a fateful event! Also, I was able to visit the House of Balloons, the house where The Weeknd started his career. As I was commuting to the house, I was listening to his first album, and felt like I was going back in time, as I was experiencing how his life was back then. SIBC gave me a lot, and I couldn't be more happy with my experience with my team!
